Book Launch was a success!

What a great night! We had over 50 people turn out for my book launch held at the Caboto Centre! The hot day cooled off and we had the book signing portion of the evening in the courtyard that was just outside the reception room. My eldest grandson Braden surprised me with an introduction. I spoke first about some history of Winnipeg and the growth of the city with the use of the streetcars. I then read a short part from my book. I had a time to answer questions and speak with those attending. My friend Steven Stothers manned the display boards I had created that featured streetcar history. Fiona Scurrah and my grandson Braden took care of the selling books for me so I had more time to talk to people. Have a look at the pictures!
